Adelina Shōchikuin (松竹院アデリナ Shōchikuin Aderina?) is a student from Churaumi Beat Academy.

Like her twin brother Yoshito, Adelina hides her true self under a trimmer, paranoid, desperate persona. While not showing much emotion on her face, she is far from stoic, bit further than her brother. quite allergic to most toppings, mostly at the expense of the school ice cream man.
Her favorite food is chocolate chip ice cream and only eats them rather than other flavors except her brother's Plain Vanilla, much to the manager's annoyance. She seems to take well to company as she doesn't have any complaints with him

Etymology[]
Shōchikuin (松竹院?): Shō (松 matsu?) translates to pine tree, in reference to Churaumi's location surrounded by small trees. Chiku (竹 take?) comes from the prefix to building's location beyond the bamboo trees in the island meaning bamboo, and in (院?), meaning institution, temple; mansion; school, a reference to her connection to Churaumi Beat Academy. Together, its meaning is roughly school of pine and bamboos.
Adelina is a common western and Russian name that is of Germanic, Greek and Latin origins and is the diminutive of Adela, which itself came from the Germanic word "adal",meaning "noble".
